Primary 7 on Canadian Television

Susie Millar has been a regular visitor to Dundonald Primary School over the last few years.  Some of you may recognise her name as she has been appearing on the BBC Newsline reports from the cruise ship Balmoral which tracked the Titanic's famous journey.

Susie's Great-Grandfather, Tommy Millar, worked on the Titanic while it was being built and then got a job working on the ship for The White Star Line.  Unfortunately Tommy Millar did not survive.

Susie now shares her Great-Grandfather's story 'The Two Pennies' with our Primary 7 classes each year.

In connection with the centenary celebrations the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) asked if they could film her sharing her story and knowledge of Titanic's history with our pupils.
