Arts Live @ BBC

On Friday 3rd June 28 pupils from P5-P7 participated in a live BBC broadcast in Studio 1 Broadcasting House. The purpose of the “go live” programmes is to introduce classrooms of children to various art forms, and actively engage them while the programme is on air by sending questions electronically for the guest artist. Our pupils acted as the studio audience and met world renowned cartoonist Kev Sutherland. During the programme Kev taught the children how to draw comic book characters such as Denis the Menace, and shared some “tips of the trade” with the pupils.
